Fandabedosie day today!
Pete bravely had his hair shaved off, and as it was so long, not only did Marie Curie benefit by nearly £250,wahhoo!!! but also
The Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children suffering hair loss due to cancer did, with a lovely ponytail.
A huge thank you to Pete for taking on this challenge, and yes I know I need to do something just as brave, mmm, but what?
I'm sure I'll think of something.
Now, back to up/down loading these pics, I think I've got the hang of it, so it shouldn't be too long before I can post them, talking about post, took the ponytail into the post office, (inside an envelope of course!), and the young lady asked me if it was worth £46 or more, did flummox me a bit, so I said its hair, luckily there was no queue, sounds quite sinister, she then got her whatsamacallit out and proceeded to measure the width of said envelope, cost first class, £2.90 and worth every penny:0)

Womble on
Just giving page is looking a little lonely! One donation so far, need to get Mr Womble out there trekking the www.
Going to be giving the kick boards another go in a min, need to get physical things out of the way before mid April and I become incapacitated for a few weeks (will tell more nearer the time):0)
Managed to re-screw the bathroom shade back up, it was hanging by the wires, did notice that one side has started to come away from the ceiling again, still half up is better than whole down isn't it?.
The snow is starting to clear now, don't get snow on the Isle of Wight often, so we never seem ready for it, and all hell lets loose!
Yesterday I set off to work 10 miles away, snowing, freezing winds the lot, cleared my Suziki Vitara soft top of snow so I could see where I was going, did think about the 4x4 bit, but I'm not 100 percent sure how to do it, took it nice and steady,so far so good, then I come to Arreton, one of the villages, and the traffic had come to a complete stop, slowly edged forward, stopped then applied the gas to move, and the wheels were just going round and round and the car was not moving!! whipped it into 2nd gear and crossed everything, wheels still going round, car not moving, lots of noise going on, then YES, got a grip, so embarrassing!! managed to get round a couple of nasty bends, thinking can I pull over and have a look at this 4x4 thingy on the front wheels, then nah,way too cold!, avoided the little sporty car fish tailing coming at me, then as if by magic the road was clear'ish of snow, off I went, got to work, and the group had been cancelled due to the snow, would you Adam & Eve it, all that drama, and I just had to turn around and do it all again!
So, I enquired if anyone knew about my 4x4 thingey, which of course they all did, but, I turned the thingey me bob in the wheel clockwise, then was shown which gear on my little knob to use, returned home without a hiccup. And now the snow is melting, give me a few days, and no doubt I will think about turning the thingey back anti clockwise, but not yet, I like the little green light that says 4x4 ;0)
Now, back to those kick boards.
